THE SUN DID IT

The sun is responsible; it made the tulips bloom
hope clouds don't come, they'll spell doom.
Covered in rain clouds, here comes the sky,
"Give us wings," said tulips. "We want to fly
on green-leaf wings to join Spring's sparrows."
Rain the villain with cold sharp arrows
targets the earth and more tulips bloom.
Acts of Nature lift us out of gloom.
