Accepting new roads
is often contingent upon firing a long-idle engine

A lot of aging potential in the gears;
These sharpened, corrosive edges,
spitting bitter crimson fluids, and
splintered
screaming metal

Howling memories
Bleeding a rusty, familiar anguish
the menacing sediment slithering down the shower drain

A riddled mindset is chaotic at best
but a self-guarded testimony worth the price of admission

Darwinistic demand exercised

As a hardened act of survival
and a life requirement
to feel the harness of the same fires formally engulfed

Nitrous jalopy
Blood red, blood read rocket fuel in the loins
Propel when the signal's emerald
and take me where I need to be
