The owner ignores them,
but I only have to look to see the effects brought about,
They’re not new,
the rose colored vessels that travel slowly across the silhouette.
Like the domino effect,
they leave behind tiny paths and trails as they spread like poison ivy.
They blossom on portraits
and in the sunlight they show like angry claws.
The venomous vines
are wicked and visibly consuming. They are there and have consequences.
Can you feel they’re greedy snare;
do you choose not to…I think they would strangle me
But I’m vain that way
