Well, I talked to an old flame yesterday

You said I was the same person I was a few months ago

Thanks for telling me that

And for saying that I will never learn

Ha, Trust me just by you saying that

That actually gave me extra push that

Makes me want to change

Just to prove you wrong

since you say all I've done so far was prove you right

Well in a few weeks or a month I'll be a new person

Thanks to you.

This is gonna be a fun little adventure

To see who really matters

1st thing I'm gonna do

Is not let people take advantage of me anymore

You taught me that

It used to go through one ear and out the other

But now it's stuck to me like Velcro
