To what loss,
The lives lost,
Who died in vain,
But the cause still remains,
To be the same.
They were big boys toys,
Armies of small boys,
In wars they fought,
In wars where taught,
That the last resort.
What would it be,
If here today could be,
A time they’d have known,
Of what to condone,
Alas we sit alone.
Filled with pride,
That I’m alive,
Hard times ahead,
But not mislead,
Are you hearing what’s said.
History parts, works of art,
Destroyed, no more to see,
Did it have to be,
Why,
I cry.
