What it means to not let go

I’ve found someone else but still cant let go

The reason why I don’t want to go home

Because I know I haven’t let you go

And to go back home I know I won’t be alone

I don’t want you yet I can’t let you go

I’ve found someone else

But still I haven’t let go

Why, oh why? Have I not let you go?

Knowing you’re with someone else shouldn’t hurt so

But I have to try and try

One day I will let go
