Something of my searching

Something like roses

Something to cure my pain

Something I'll pull close

And, allow to save me soul

Lately, I've been fighting

Fighting my same old hauntings

Fighting my fears

Fighting myself to say

Fighting has ended

Now that you have saved me

Peaceful

Peaceful valleys

Peaceful meadows

Peaceful mountains

Now cast no shadows

Night or day

And, I am safe

No matter what terrain

May come my way

Christy, you'll know loving

Loving from me only

Loving you fully

Loving you true

Loving you until death

Of both soul and body

Lately, I've been thinking

Thinking less of running

Thinking more of standing still

Thinking of you and I

Thinking of unborn children

I hope one day we have

Peaceful

Peaceful valleys

Peaceful meadows

Peaceful mountains

Now cast no shadows

Night or day

And, you are safe

For, I am with you
