We do not pray
Rather our prayers
Are of God’s Spirit
Through God’s Spirit
By God’s Spirit
In and of us, through us, by us, and for us
We are receptive
Not by ourselves
But, by Him
Not through ourselves
But, through His ever flowing Grace
His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ
We are saved
Not by decision
But, by Faith
Not through intellect
But, through mystery
Of love so deep it saves
We have knowledge
Not by reason
But, by Wisdom
Not through experience
But, through earnest meditation
And, sincere expectation of prayer
We are His
Not by request
But, by His Spirit
Not through self-promotion
But, through His Righteousness
He bestows His gifts to us
We do not pray
Rather our prayers
Are of God’s Spirit
