In the heart of the matter

I forgot to mention

That I hope you find yourself someone better

And although this is painful for me to say

I’m gonna be alright and it’s okay

That you had to move on

I haven’t



I won’t ever feel so lucky as I did with you

I love you, without a cliché attached

This time I mean it



Wow, I never thought it’d come to this

Me in the place where I put you so long ago

Somewhere out on a rope

Without a net below to catch me when I fall

Oh, and I know when I do it’s gonna hurt

And I know that it’s gonna be hard

To pick myself up
