Raise my voice

I raise this glass up towards the sky

And hope you come back home

And if you don't, I guess I'll know

Why you had to get out and start running



And if you fall

I hope you know, I'll feel the pain along with you

And should you call

In this breath

I only take in the essential

Knowing nothing compares to you

And though you're gone, I pray you always knew

My heart was alive because of you... and still is
