When there's lies in truth it's still the truth

And that's an honest lie

But don't you think I've had enough

The truth has made me die



And I lost myself

Out there before

Trying to be somebody else

Thought it might make you proud

Should've listened to myself



And I try to follow you

Just to be within your reach

I find that I'm losing ground

I cannot make it on my knees



Do you remember when I forgot

Forgot to say goodbye

But you won't turn to look my way

Just to give it one more try
