Love is the instant the light leads one to life

The tender warmth of the care taking wife

Of the father who is bold and level-headed

The brother or sister together embedded

Family history and support runs through blood

So what other ways do we encounter love?

Love is the older best friend known for a decade

The laughter brought and memories never fade

Influence and valuable advice lead me through

Trials and tribulations I come encounter to

Your morals are not for hire, in that I admire

Where is the love we acquire?

Love is in the male bonding – stated as given

To all my homies, it may not be said, like it’s forbidden

Growing up and learning together

Even if we are not near each other forever

It’s something I won’t ever take for granted

How is love enchanted?

Love is the beauty in the girl I can never have

But her aura glows bright and never leaves me sad

She’s the closest to a sister I could ask for

The chatting is enough, even if I can’t see her much more

And she’s the one person where I have no regret

When is love a secret?

Love is the first time she came into sight

She’s the one that entices my dreams at night

Although it’s impossible, I still try to cherish

Any chance I can, hoping it won’t perish

Because I’m grateful enough for what it is

To my life, the music heard across the nation

Punk poets, rock rhythms, and rap rhymes

The inspirations are overwhelming in times

I need to let loose and the expression is pleasin’

So what is love in reason?

Love is, one of the few reasons for living

Philosophically speaking love keeps me breathing

Never truly felt this feeling in extraordinaire

But I’m certain everyone has their its pair
