“Loud and Proud”
Flying loud and proud, stands the red, white and blue.
The smoke cleared, as the summer breeze blew!
The bodies left stranded, in the streets where they live.
Mothers came running, with all they must give.
Grandpa is on the front porch, with the Bible in his hands.
Looks across the Horizon, for the flag where it stands.
Telling stories, he gathers from years gone by.
Sometimes questions, the reasons why.
We bow our heads for the red, white and blue.
We say a prayer, for your future too.
