“I Begged For Mercy”
I begged for mercy; she couldn’t wait!
She begged and borrowed, on the same day.
She collected her things, then headed out.
She went to the North, then to the South.
She left me stranded, no hope insight.
She didn’t even, kiss me good night!
No way of knowing, who’s wrong or right.
I didn’t want, an ugly old fight!
