Are we meant to know what meaty mystery is hidden underneath the skin

I heard that René Descartes had a dream where an angel gave him the methods & madness by which modern surgery would one day become the established procedure 

What kind of sick f*cking angel would wreak such havoc on Man instead of simply giving him the power to heal by God's hands as Jesus did

Oh wait...

We all have the power to heal ourselves & each other (yes by God's hands as Jesus did)... we just don't wanna (whah whah why do I gotta be the one to save the world, whah whah why can't somebody else do it, besides I'm busy playing Candy Crush)... or we just don't believe we or anyone else has the power to heal by God's hands as Jesus did...
