tears stream down/ but no sound is heard/ silent cries/ unheard whispers/ wishes of a better life/ dazed out and buzzed/ from drinking too much/ bloodshot eyes/ i wish it was over/ i wish the memories would fade/ the alcohol isn't working/ i'm still sober and crying/ i'm still the same... / the same girl/ with broken dreams/ the same girl/ that cried herself to sleep/ right from wrong/ how do you tell?/ black and white/ everything's gray/ nonsensical words/ yet it's all i have/ it's just a curse/ that will stay till' i die/ a bullet to the heart/ i'm still alive.../ nothing seems to work/ the pain just gets worse...
