I almost forgot/ how it felt to be in pain/ how the hot tears would run down my face/ the eye liner smudged/ the scars would irritate the skin/ I almost forgot/ how it used to be me/ how you’re yelling’s would make me feel/ I was nothing/ I was a loser/ I was no one to nobody/ I was a girl so lost/ until I left that place/ than I almost forgot/ how it felt to be alone/ but than I saw you/ and the memories came back/ of how it used to be/ why did you have to come/ why did you have to leave/ you were supposed to protect me/ you were the one/ you were supposed to help me/ but instead/ you broke me../ you came to get me/ to drag me back to the place you call home/ never mine/ but a place of horrific events/ never mine.. / and I can’t let it go../ dreams and illusions/ every time I close my eyes/ your words and your hands/ unknown strength were in your eyes/ I was doing fine/ until you came looking for me…
