eyes are tired/ from the sleepless nights/ nightmares rise up/ when i start to close my eyes/ vision blurred/ by reality's blood/ spilled on the walls/ screaming no, pls don't/ the closed door/ locking me in/ caged and compressed/ everything is spinning/ knife in hand/ the memory slipped/ rocking myself/ as i sit on the floor/ tears aren't spilled/ though i wish it would/ in a trance-like state/ nothing can shake me/ staring into nothing/ thoughts aren't shown/ wishing i could cry/ but no emotion is felt/ heart not broken/ yet so shattered/ just watch me sit/ alone in the dark..
