I had a dream one starry night,
To make amends to make things right
It started softly with plans of change,
And ended with a vision I had to arrange.
I screamed my message it carried through the night,
And echoed softly to the light
The morning was nigh the wheels were in motion,
Change was starting a running locomotion.
Tears were fading laughter was reverberating,
Making a scene of unheard sanctifying
The dream had started with peace and love,
And ended with angels singing from above
Now my world is warm and glad,
I can finally move on and let go of the bad.
My soul is reborn my heart is mending,
There is a peace that will never need defending.
Hope came to me through the fear and fright
And taught me a love that’s out of sight
It was on that night that I made my peace
Now I’ll live each day and pain will cease
