the more the pain / the more i want it to stay

echoes penetrate my cell / not one of you can lead me away

everything in life / just brings me down

don’t ever try to let it go / stand aside as i start to drown



i never ever wanted it / to end like this

never any love for me / the hole you left me in is bottomless

the hand i’ve been dealt / has proved to be useless

you never wanted me / i never ever wanted this  



i don’t ask for much / just for someone to understand

i don’t ask for much / just for the wheel to turn in my favor

all i needed was you / just another thing i could never grasp

everything in life / now just forgotten things i’ve left behind
