Oh,to be sick and far from home, but thank God, not from the swine flu. Just from the ordinary flu. So it was my grandson first, then I came next, down to my son, and ending to my daughter in law. This would complete the whole picture of the whole family, sick of the big flu.
You can either get depressed, or just let it pass, and actually, believe me or not, have a good time getting SICK! We were getting our temperatures together, we were coughing together, were blowing our noses together, and we were hugging each other together.Since, there was no work for all of us,me being a visitor, we were bonding together 24 hours, a day,for as long as the flu wanted to stick around.I guess, it wanted to bond with us too.
Out of the blue, I died laughing when my grandson 8, and so cute, blurted it out so hard, and said... I am so bored from eating, so bored from playing, so bored from watching the TV, so bored from taking my medicines, and so bored from getting sick! When can we buy the toy you promised me Lola Bing, and we would end up telling each other that we heve indeed gone crazy... from the flu.
And our favorite line would be " are you still getting woozy, when you get up to walk?" only my grandson would know the meaning of this, cuz he invented the word, but as long as he says, he's ok,then we are all ok!
Well, to be sick and lethargic, and away from my native land, is perfectly ok, as long as I am with my love ones and my dear family...
