Winter has left me
And Summer is here
Yet, I do not want a new Year
Autumn deserted me
And left me to Spring
Have I forgotten Everything?
Wherever I go
I’m certain to find
A bloodthirsty King, of a terrible Regime
Not to be free
But to die a slave
Chained by the torment of being Saved
Abandoned is where
I know not the truth
Why do I give in to You
Winter has left me
And gone away
You will but use me at your Dismay
You bloodthirsty King
Of Heaven and life
Where do I stand in the angel’s Light?
What have I
That you do not
Winter is gone, my life has Stopped.
Where will I be
When Summer is gone -
Alone in your slave-trodden, chain-bound Throng?
In the colorlessness
Of my affair
In every shape, in every Air,
When Abandoned By Season
You leave me in Spring -
No, I cannot forget Anything!
Yes, Winter has left me
In my lifeless state
And I am in torment - Yet, this is my Fate.
