I know what you’re going through
And I won’t let go of you
I may be young
But I am strong
And my will to hold you back
Is greater than yours to move on

I promise to be here for you
Every single day
Wipe every tear
And take away the blades
I’ll listen
To every word
You feel you have to say

I’ll be here
For every bad day
You will heal
And it won’t always be this way

Some scars fade
Some scars don’t
And just because they haven’t yet
Doesn’t mean they won’t

Things break
People change
But one thing remains the same
I’ll never, ever, go away

You try to drown me in your tears
And I’ll just learn to float
You’ll try to push me away, I know
But as for leaving you?
I won’t
I love you, and you’re worth the risk
If all else fails, remember this

You can beg and you can plead
But I’ll never, ever leave
In absolute honesty
You simply mean too much to me
