Wisdom Without God

My friend, a man’s simple knowledge without the true wisdom from God,

Is like one expecting seed to sprout when planted in dry rocky sod.

Indeed any lot of seeds that are planted into just any earth or soil,

Without all its needs will produce little despite your work and toil.

A man’s earthly knowledge all alone, that he stores deep down within,

Without God’s guidance is prone to be hindered by all his mortal sin.

Man’s wisdom friend, on its own, is utter foolishness in God’s eyes,

For a man needs guidance from God’s Throne to truly be found wise.

There is no God they may say, if so, why doesn’t He choose to Rule?

But they will see on that day, and by God, be rejected as the fool.

It pleased God by the foolishness preached to save all believing men,

And it is because of man’s arrogance that many will stand condemned.

The foolishness of God is wiser than the earthly wisdom of all men,

And through the preaching of the cross men are saved and condemned.

God chose the foolish things of this world to bring upon wise men shame,

The most foolish choice for all who heard is rejecting The Saviors Name.

The intelligence of the intelligent, God will turn into frustration,

And when to Heaven we are sent they will fall under condemnation.

Friend all the wisdom of the wise, Christ will someday soon destroy,

While believers with the mind of Christ, will be filled with eternal joy.
