Fixing your eyes on things on this earth is of little eternal worth,

Creating problems to anticipate can only fill your heart with hate.

Time on earth is so brief, so why fill your heart with bitter grief?

But if you look to God up above, He fills your heart with His love.



Be anxious for nothing on this earth wherever your feet my trod,

Instead in prayer and supplication let your requests be known to God.

And a peace that transcends all your understanding, my dear friend,

Shall guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus until the very end.



Christ came to give us all New Life and this life He gave abundantly,

It's a life of peace in Christ and through Him you can be worry free.

So cast your cares upon The Lord for He cares much for you and me,

Our Life doesn't consist of earthly things but of riches in eternity.



We are to consider it all pure joy when we face trials of many kinds,

God is working in our lives and we don't know what He has in mind.

For the testing of our faith in God develops a special perseverance,

It is so we can be complete in Christ on the day of His Appearance.



Our life is but a mist that appears that one day soon shall vanish,

And Christ will welcome the Righteous home while evil He will banish.

So look above to The Lord my friend in your trials and your strife,

For the man who perseveres under trials will receive a Crown of Life.
