We stand,
over the valley below.
we watch as the sun goes down..
falls into nothing...
stars following bright above.
We sigh,
as we're both knowing
commitment we're making
as we've won...
hushed voices fall behind.
We watch,
the flames growing higher
and they engulf the city lights.
towns burn to nothing...
and we know we were right...
