Racing time and I’m coming for you,

The rain pours down upon the windshield,

Hail comes down hard.

I think I can make it this time,

Beat the clock for once…..

I won’t let them get you,

They can’t put you away from life.

I will come to rescue you…..

I cut through fog blindly and at high speed.

Nothing can stop me this time,

Everything better move aside.

Signs in the way, run them over;

Do not read the warnings….

I know them by heart.

This time I’m gonna win,

And I will save you.

This battle between time and me,

Isn’t going to cease.

The flames rise above,

And lick the blackened sky.

Close my eyes,

I drive right through it…

Smell my burning flesh but do not stop.

I’m really going to beat time for once,

And nothing can stop me.

All those nails out in the road,

Does not matter I’ll drive with flat tires.

The tears in my eyes fall hastily

As time seems to speed up to my pace.

I am blind but my heart can see

And that’s what matters in this war.
