Shoot-Out Boy

Folder:
Suicide

For years you held it in;

All of your anger, and hurt......

The teasing you pushed to the back of your thoughts.

All the abuse, and frustration......

Yourself you mutilated, but kept hidden so none would see.

Then one day, when it all caved in,

You took down your enemies

And even your friends.

Any bit of love you had known,

You snubbed it out the day you snapped.

Rapid steps echoed in the hallways

And stench of gun powder;

You lined us up and shot us down

One by one....a bullet to the brain.

With our blood went our lives,

Mixing upon the dirty tile floor.....

Screams pierced the day and time seemed to stop.

You continued to unload your hate

Down upon us all;

Anyone in your way would fall.

Some begged for mercy,

And you laughed in their faces.

Some gave you threats,

And you let them die slow.

Others just closed their eyes,

And accepted their fates.

The ones that hurt you most,

And others had to go;

You just didn't want to leave alone.

The day you caved in,

You went out of your way

Just to take us all down with you.

The ones who prayed you hated most,

No slack for them you gave......just mocked their gods.

You skipped through the halls,

Bringing terror with your wicked

Smile and crazed eyes.

Help came too late for us;

Came too late for you.

One last bullet left, you made sure of that.

You looked down the loaded gun,

And saw your life through the barrel.

Your own life you took

With the squeeze of a trigger.

The measure of sorrow just got bigger;

Needed closure was never obtained.

The help just came too late.

For years you had held it in.

Then one day you snapped and took us all out;

Dreams and futures ran out with crimson.....

And forever this day remains in our eyes.
