We were conquered, battered, colonised

But our spirits never die

Thanks to the Almighty

Who gave us these trials

To make us strong

So that we are now independent

Courageous and ambitious

Asians we are and we possess the

Largest landmass in the world

Richest in resources and cultures

Together we wish to share

Them with the world in peace and harmony

In the name of the Almighty

We forgive and forget

For the trials and tribulations

Thrown at us ever since Columbus

Found his way round the world

So that we can be great in the

Eyes of God
