I don’t know what to say about females these days
Don’t get me wrong,
I love me and every other sister I see,
But there are some things that puzzle me
I don’t know why,
But some females seemed satisfied with just getting by.
I mean, I know no one’s life is perfect
It’s just that a good thing will come if and when you deserve it
A mind is a terrible thing to waste
And no one seems to know how to work it
More and more sisters I see are more concerned
With that man and showing him how they twurk it.
See this is their plan to achieve that ultimate dream…
There’s no need to be independent, a man is all they need
More mesmerized by a life glamorized by greed
And the saddest part is that these are
My sisters who have already birthed seeds.
Don’t get me wrong,
It is nice to have man who gives you things
But what does it matter if you’re not really his queen?
And it is here that our cipher begins,
90 from momma who doesn’t want or need to work for herself
She’s traded all her ambition and drive for those
19 diamond clusters in that dusty box on the shelf
90 from daddy whom our baby sister doesn’t know
Momma says it doesn’t matter because to him she’s just a hoe
90 degrees from the neo momma and seed depend on for now
Oh he’s nice because he treats momma so right,
Not to mention he gives her money on the lights
And now 90 degrees to our little sister
Raised around dependency, hatred, and jealousy,
You must know that her childhood was a mere façade you see
Her only primary colors were momma’s hair weaves
So do we need to wonder why when our females reach their teens
That they’re more caught up in how they look
In those tight ass jeans?
Already a warped sense of reality of what life should be
A life shaped and molded on total dependency.
