i can feel the drill
lidocaine not helping me
you slipped and struck a nerve

N2O would be nice
bleeding profusely
it's imbedded in the bone
and the pulling isn't helping
the jabbing and the poking

extraction leaving a hole and a space
can't swallow, can't drink
sewn shut painfully and throbbing

i haven't eaten in days
and won't get to eat for days more
painkillers have no effect
i guess i deserve it
this is my punishment
