The battle rages hate rise, my face scared I look west and see nothing,
I look north the enemy advances; I look south and see the end….
So I look to the east, towards the rising sun, and breath again…
The light envelops me, forgiving all I have done to thee
The pain subsides now, life just begun
So to the sun I walk today, from shadows now I walk away
Death I leave forever free, one last glance revels to me
A single rose, upon life’s road, from death it sprung, new life begun
Forever I walk into the light, pain receding life proceeding
From death created, new life berating
You hate and fear, I alone I feel
Pain that made me
Hate that jades me
My own mind my enemy
I fall alone beside this road
I pray to you oh holy soul
Forgive me all, I am unworthy
I am alone and ever shall
The earth I roam, no home I own
No past I have, no rest I seek
