i daydream in my dreams, i awaken,
given life, only for it to be taken,
away, from all the hoops we must jump through,
from the misleading communications we each spew,
shit eat work sleep and gone, no way to escape it,
pick up the pieces of your existance, desperately re-tape it,
the next day comes, the next day goes, eventually the dead end,
hope for, the ever less popular die-peacefully-in-your-bed trend,
we do it, a meaningless speck on such large, meaningless highways,
we do fine, as long as we have god, as long as the great big lie stays,
these words fade in minutes, we fade in hours, all fades soon,
money, popularity, things - we fade away along with each life luxury cocoon...
