sore throats

breathing plotting

against you

achy body

brooding chemicals causing

unintended emotions

unfinished work

suck it up

and

keep moving





actually

scratch that

because your car

has alterior motives

stuck in the street

can't find your flashers

and your tears cause your sunglasses to

slip off your face

and break

thank God for cops

sometimes

but even at home

you can develop a fever
