Time is nothing

It passes without notice

But goes by to fast

When I hear your voice

You’ve helped me thru

Times I would’ve died

Been there for me

Throughout my cries

Never held you in my arms

But your voice alone

Quieted my alarms

You’ve helped me thru the bad

And helped make the good

You don’t know how much you have done

Even if you didn’t know you could

Even in times of darkness

You were my steady light

Guiding me thru the days

And showing me thru the nights

So this goes out to you

You’ll never be forgotten

Cause when my heart turned to stone

You’re the one that made it soften.
