My Du'a



I've grown up now, I know its not always time to play,

Making life’s decision day by day.

Knowing that each moment could be my last,

trying to make each day better and repenting for my past.

To know where I am going I have to understand where I have been,

so that with guidance I don't go down those roads again.

Struggling in this cause so that the Creator is pleased with me,

leaving something behind for my kids to learn from and to see.

As an example for which they should be better than,

As my girls grow into women and my boys grow into men.

I just ask for the strength to stay strong and do what is right,

As I make this Du'a every night.
