There once was a doorman named Matt

One day, as he opened the door, in walked a rat

Matt started to shout 

'Hey rat, get the hell out!

You won't? You leave me no choice, I'll call for a cat!'

Are you shocked at Matt's reaction?

You know, residents don't consider rats an attraction

Another day at the door, Matt saw something approach

It turned out to be a very large roach 

If you were here, you'd really see Matt in action!

A little background information about Matt

A friendly man who loved to chat

Would always offer assistance 

He never showed resistance 

To brighten the tenants existence, all adore Matt

One thing about Matt I'd like to say

Except for rats and vermin, was meek. got stepped on all day

How could they all adore Matt

If he was a doormat?

Might as well be a matador, olé!
