Ray Charles - Regarded as one of the most iconic and influential musicians in history, he became blind around the age of seven. Doctors have suggested the cause was juvenile glaucoma. To accomplish all he did without the benefit of sight since he was seven is absolutely amazing to me. How did he do it? His name gives a clue:

RAY CHARLES  =  HA! C'S EARLYR.

Stevie Wonder - Like Ray Charles, considered by many a musical genius. A pioneer across a range of musical genres. Born prematurely, he was incubated which resulted in him going blind. Another amazing story. I guess one or two critics may not care for him, but that doesn't bother Stevie Wonder. Why?

STEVIE WONDER  =  DON'T SE REVIEW.

Roy Orbison - Yet another icon in music history. Known for his distinctive and powerful voice, there's a common misconception about him. What?

ROY ORBISON  =  YO, NO ORBS, RI?

No, not right. Roy Orbison was not blind, though he did have vision problems which caused him to wear the dark, corrective lenses he's famous for.

The name, I've found in so many cases, relates to the life. Does yours?
