Headline in today's N.Y. Times:
'Maine's Secretary of State to Decide Whether Trump Can Stay on Ballot'
https://www.nytimes.com/2023/12/22/us/maine-trump-ballot.html
A few days ago, Colorado's Supreme Court ruled that Trump cannot appear on the Presidential ballot. Now, Maine is looking at the same question. A decision will be made by Maine's Secretary of State, Shenna Bellows. Not knowing anything about her, I thought her name would provide some information:
I see Trump's already started with the disparaging remarks about her:
SHENNA BELLOWS = L! SHE'S BLOWN AN-E
SHENNA BELLOWS = SHE'S BN SWALLOEN!
That's really disgusting! To talk about the Secretary of State like that. How does he get away with it?
SHENNA BELLOWS = WL B SEEN..'S..'N A-HOL!
I certainly hope so, There are many, however, who feel the exact opposite:
SHENNA BELLOWS = A, SHE BN SWELL, NO?
SHENNA BELLOWS = L! 'N SHE'S NOBLE! AW..
We'll be anticipating her decision sometime next week. Does she have the authority as Secretary of State to force Trump's name off the ballot should she rule against him?
SHENNA BELLOWS = 'ELL! SHEN'S 'O.B.-WAN'!
Omg! Shenna Bellows is Obi-Wan Kenobi? She definitely has the force then!
