I'd like to wish all you mothers out there a very happy Mothers Day.

If you're lucky like I was, you'll be blessed with a mother who will always love you no matter what, and is always there to remind you to do what's right because as we all know, mothers always know best.

I lost my Mom some years back. On Mothers Day, I'd like to share a story.

When I was 8, every day I'd come home from school, have a glass of milk, take a hammer from the drawer we kept all the tools in, and start hitting myself in the face with it. Don't ask why I would do such a stupid thing. I don't even know myself. You can imagine what it feels like to hit yourself in the face with a hammer. It's not a pleasant feeling.

One day, I was in my room hitting myself in the face with a hammer when my Mom walks in. I'll never forget how upset she was! She said 'My God! What are you doing? Stop hitting yourself in the face with a hammer!'

Which I did. And you know what?  That happened more than 50 years ago. From that day, I never hit myself in the face with a hammer again. Thanks Mom! Happy Mother's Day!
