If I were to die tonight..........



Would you know how much I love you?

Would you know how much I cared?

Would you know that I've forgiven you,

And I'm thankful for all we shared?



Would the memories of our love,

Remain in your mind forever?

Would they eventually diminish in time,

And be replaced by someone more clever?



I know that I'm not beautiful,

I'm aware that I'm not that smart.

But still, somehow,

I hope to remain always in your heart.
