maybe someday I will learn to see change as important

this machine gun heartbeat

this chest stab

this unbearable shiver

this clenched fist

things that will be my now so

flight can come with time

I just want to make this pain worth it

the repetitive desire no one wants to hear anymore

I just want to see the world in someone else’s body

pull me up so their wings feel the spread

only once I’m undone

do I realize how connected I am to this sky

how to make this body all my own
