Crashing down, around me
This world is so corrupt
Unable to sense freedom or happiness
Judgement keeps my heart
Feelings of suffocation
Wings clipped short
Unable to slip from society
Such a strong hold it has on me
Each waking moment,
Every breath I take
Makes life unappealing,
And death a safer way
Love is not allowed
My heart has shut it out
Boarded up,
And threw away the key
Fearing the hurt pressed on me
I'm sick of being harmed
Give me a place to go,
A place to get away
Please, let me escape my past
The sneers and jeers of my peers
Make them vanish
Crooked memories,
Mind boggling events
So much has happened,
That I will never forget
