The phone rang and I answered it no expectations
I heard his voice and knew you were there
he only calls when your around
I know your there, you don't have to make a sound
why do you have him call me
why don't you just leave me be
I talked about you last night to the best friend I have ever had in my life
I told her of my love for you
she told me what I should do
she told me to tell you how I felt
don't tell him you hate him I know you too well
you love him, admit it, she would say to me
I was quiet, she was right, but we can never be
you have her and I have him
our new lives apart have already began
I think its to late to try to get you back
I am nothing though if your love is what I lack
I need you here with me, by my side
tell me everything is all right
I am deciding to tell you at school
to tell you I am sorry I acted like a fool
I pretend our love did not exist
and now I am lonely, sad, and pissed.
I am going to explain my foolishness
and hope that one day you might forgive
I know I hurt you, but give me another shot
I know we are meant to be, your love means a lot
I hope you will reach deep into your heart
and find the love for me you have forgot.
