I'm waiting and waiting
I want it all now
The holding hands
Whispering of sweet nothing
Endless dates

My flesh is rising 
But my heart awaits
For God's perfect mate

The one who
Pray, laughs and take a stand
The world shows me this
And everything of that

But what lies here is God's way
His will
On his time
Of what mate should be mine

I'm not doubting 
Maybe a little pouting
But I'm waiting, and waiting
Following in God's steps 
Doing this right
So honey I'm praying for you day and night
