Breakthrough
took a while, but i found my smile,
under a pile of expired styles,
from ear to ear, goes on for miles,
like a permanent vacation to a tropical isle,
i'm finally happy, this don't come easy,
but it don't matter if you don't believe me,
i know where i've been and what i've done,
and i'm just happy to see the rising sun,
lucky to be alive, with angels at my side,
all the memories of loved ones who've died,
i've gained power through tears i've cried,
and what don't kill me only gives me pride,
from now till the day that i'm gone,
