desire me in old age

for now my face is smooth and bright

but you still love me

when time has turned the page

Now my eyes are sparkling blue

and golden is my hair

but will you desire me

when I'm old and tired

and burdened down with care

Will you desire me and love me

as long as I shall live

for you are all in life, I'll ever want

and my love to you, I'll always give
