O PEACE COME!
BY AKOL MEYAN KUOL
Peace,
I hear they are crying for you
But who will bring you?
Peace,
I hear they dream of you
But will their dream come true?
Peace,
I hear some people never lived with you
But will they live to enjoy you?
Peace,
I hear they sing your name
But will their songs win you over?
There is horror, suffering, fear
O peace come!
