Me and my sandwich
For a full block
Long walk
For such short legs
Even though
Our pace was the same
I looked down,
Smiled;
He couldn't, so
Didn't
But I received the message anyway
My roast beef and turkey
Suddenly had less turkey
And he was gone.
I loved him for
Those moments
He took advantage
But didn't take much
So
I still love that moment
When I smiled
And he couldn't.
