from cosmology to homogeneity---

is not democracy,

but meritocracy

and oligarchy.

So much wannabe,

malarkey,

is

no more than evanescent fizz.

I am sure that a site like postpoems, where all are welcome, has room for an opinion even such as mine.


The meritocracy is contemporary Poets.  The oligarchy is the Canon of Western Literature as it is defined by the meritocratic Poets.
